That's right! I'm back for another round and I'm so excited to complete 2 very small rooms in our Edmonds project. I will be tackling the mud room AND the powder bath on the main floor.
If you're new to the ORC, it's an 8 week challenge to complete a space in your home. Completed by designers, DIYers, design enthusiasts across the world. It's a community.
As we embark on this journey, we invite you to join us in the transformation of the mudroom and powder bath on the main floor of our project in Edmonds, WA, affectionately dubbed #AreWeThereYet.
At this stage, our spaces exist as mere skeletons – subfloor and stud walls are all that greet the eye. But fear not, for we have grand plans to breathe life into these blank canvases and create functional yet stylish areas that reflect our vision for #AreWeThereYet.
As we gather our last couple of sponsors and meticulously plan every detail, we're thrilled to share the journey with you. Our goal is to not only showcase the transformation process but also to inspire and provide insights for your own home projects.
The mudroom is often the unsung hero of a home – a space where functionality meets style. In our design for #AreWeThereYet, we will provide hidden storage with drawers, coat and bag hanging storage through hooks and a less formal brass rod and S hooks.
We aim to keep clutter at bay and ensure every item has its designated place.
Expect to see pops of color, texture, and perhaps even a statement piece that elevates the space from merely utilitarian to downright delightful. Hint* You may have used one of these before.....at an airport maybe?
The powder bath, albeit small in size, holds immense potential to make a big statement. It's always the perfect canvas to experiment with bold design choices and inject personality into the home.
